
Overview
Pippin is a halfling fighter from the Isles of Elysia. Some time ago, he stole the egg containing Lady Cluckington, from the Ashen Wing gang. He was then trained by his mentor Old Man Feathers on how to fight, and how to ride Cluckington as a mount. Pippin has a strong interest in birds, and other creatures. He is a currently traveling as a part of the crew of The Sea Wolf, and a holder of a card from the Deck of Many Things.

Origin
Pippin Tangletoes was an ordinary halfling farmer from the Isles of Elysia. With no trace of magic in his blood, Pippin was defined by his sheer, stubborn will. He dreamed of being a warrior, and spent his days fighting cornstalks and vegetables on his families farm. He was determined to prove that a magic-less commoner could carve his name into history, even if he was a halfling.
His family lived under the oppression of the Ashen Wing a gang whose staged heroics, lies, and magic justified their constant draining of village resources.
Pippinās life changed at age sixteen during a local fair. He was captivated by Lady Cluckingtonās Mother, a majestic giant bird, presented by an eccentric traveler named Old Man Feathers (OMF). OMF, a secret exile from the Ashen Wing, regaled Pippin with tales of a lost continent with wondrous giant birds that were intelligent and very wise.
one evening while pippin and OMF were talking about their shared love of birds, Cluckingtonās mother locked eyes with Pippin; Visions began to bombard Pippin. He saw an egg in a stone chamber, held by a shadowy group; Heard whispers and voices he couldnāt make out. One scene was clear however, the screams of Cluckingtonās mom as her egg was stolen from her.
Driven by his visions he set out in the night and came upon a golden-feathered crow. The crow lead him to an old Ashen Wing outpost. There, resting in a bowl of cold blue flame, he saw the egg from his visions. He snatched the egg and fled. Why the egg was unguarded is unknown, even to Pippin.
After running through the night Pippin returned and showed the egg to OMF, who urged him to leave immediately. Pippin refused, unready to abandon his family. He was certain he could hide the egg. Could they really want it that bad if they left it unguarded? He managed to hide the egg for two weeks before the cult struck back.
The Ashen Wing orchestrated a goblin raid to flush out the thief. During the chaos, the egg in Pippinās backpack hatched, and Lady Cluckington emerged. Her hatching sent a powerful pulse of primal energy. It caused the goblins to scatter, but served as a beacon to the Ashen Wing. That same evening, the members of the Ashen Wing descended upon the Tangletoes farm. They used a basilisk to temporarily petrify his younger sister, Camlin. They promised to return and do much worse if the thief did not come clean.
Pippin, torn between the desire to save his family and protect Lady Cluckington, penned a note that night. He disowned his family, cursing them for their weakness and challenged the Ashen Wing to find him. If they wanted Cluckington so bad then they could come and take her.
Pippin spent the next 4 years training under OMF before setting off to do what he trained to do. Destroy the Ashen Wing, free himself and Lady Cluckington from their grip, and finally see his family again. When he set off OMF gave pippin the Plant card, some scale-mail armor, and gave him a note that told him to find the flopping fish.
