After killing the Aboleth, most of the crew of The Sea Wolf found themselves pillaging it’s watery cave. Due to his thalassaphobia, Oryx Valeshade stayed on the ship.

Within the cave the others found a huge Aboleth egg, six feet in diameter. There was some discussion about turning it into a large omelet, however—due to the soft spot for egged creatures in Echo Dawn Silvertail of Feather-Hoot’s heart— they decided to keep it safe for now.

A few members continued deeper following drag markings into another chamber. Within it they were suddenly face to face with a dragon
but it was carved from wood on the bow of a large sunken ship. After looking around they found a large cannon that might be useful to come back for, but not much else useful (apart from a potential egress/ingress point to Daedalian Dungeons).

They returned to the ship, egg in tow, and then to Rocktide Cove to collect their bounty and run some errands. Captain Morganstern asked them to collect liquor for an upcoming gathering at Rocktide Cove in about a month. She said that the reward would be commensurate to the quality and quantity of grog they brought back. She also asked for some to be sweet, and not salty like the liquor they were used to.

Castus Wolfe also sent Splint and the old woman back to The Mace and Flail which they decided would be the new bastion for the group.

Then The Sea Wolf cast off to return the Imprisoned Dwarves to their home. Through Castus Wolfe’s communicative efforts, they were directed to a non-descript bay along The Stormbreak Mountain Range. While the crew went ashore, Oryx Valeshade noticed that the bay seemed to have no bottom
 strange

They made their way through a forest, noticing how many plants seemed to be dying in this area, until they came to a sheer cliffside. The Imprisoned Dwarves then knocked loudly on the smooth surface to no avail. The group surmised that they may not be greeted while the ship was in the bay, so they sent the crew off to come back in a weeks time, and to keep the Aboleth egg watered while they were gone.

Nothing changed.

They eventually spread out to find an entrance, when Castus Wolfe had Huckleberry attempt to lift a large rock surrounded by dying vegetation. His hands were very sweaty, and there was too much attention on him, and he didn’t stretch, and he had already had his workout for the day, so (very understandably) he couldn’t lift it at first. Pippin Tangletoes came to help, and due to the embarrassment (even though it is totally normal for people to not get things up sometimes) Huckleberry put everything he had into lifting that rock. He yoinked the shit out of it and found three dwarves who had been attempting to keep this rocky door shut, hanging from the underside.

Out came a small but heavily armed detail, ready to escort the group into a tunnel that had been hidden underneath. The group followed Castus Wolfe’s lead and descended in peace. After feeling a sort of breathing sensation from the tunnel with fresh air entering, and warm industrial air leaving, it seemed like this was a vent of some sort.

Eventually they came into a vast cavern supported by giant mineralized columns, there were large swaths of greenish blue bioluminescent flora providing light along most surfaces. This was Gathol~Tûm

Echo Dawn Silvertail of Feather-Hoot thought it was a good idea to touch the glowing flora, when suddenly a plum of noxious gas/dust/something engulfed everyone. Only Huckleberry was hurt. He soon was distracted from the pain by a mention of cave birds.

They were then brought into a tent, met a bunch of people, were introduced to the Peoples Liberation Party (peoples liberation party). They had some cigars. Were told they can’t leave. Huckleberry offended them accidentally with totally valid question/ questions Castus Wolfe told him to ask. Oryx Valeshade claimed to be from Cell 29-B of the Panthia Rebellion. Were given a tour. Found out that religion is banned here, and they are super into technology over magic. The Imprisoned Dwarves were returned directly to (forced?) labor, except for the youngest.

They met a human artificer who was experimenting with a card from the Deck of Many Things. They met the director of agriculture and then bought some alcohol.
