Magnyl is a human artificer who is studying a Gem card from the Deck of Many Things in Gathol~Tûm. He has set up a machine that seems very complicated that uses the magic of the card to generate some sort of magical force field that encapsulates the card as well as creating shield barriers, or even a fine film that makes mining equipment more efficient.
