Description:
These oversized shields, commonly called greatshields or tower shields, are crafted to turn their bearers into moving bulwarks. When braced in a chosen direction, the shield forms a wall that wards off incoming blows and projectiles, providing exceptional protection at the cost of agility. Each round the wielder selects a facing to protect, and with practiced maneuvering can shift that facing in response to new threats. The sheer mass and surface area, however, hinder stealthy movement or acrobatic dodges.
